A great start for the BAM course

The first edition of the BAM course – Bedside Advanced Monitoring of respiratory patients – took place last week in Pavia and it was a great success!

Participants went through a 2 days full-immersion touching three main aspects of advanced bedside monitoring of patients with lung diseases: esophageal pressure, lung ultrasound and patient-ventilator interaction. For each of these three components, they had frontal lectures and workshops, with both hands-on training (on patients, simulators and healthy subjects) and case discussion.
